Draughtsman and still life and landscape painter Lotti Reizenstein was born into a Jewish family in Nuremberg and trained at the local Kunstgewerbeschule; later studying at the Reimann School in Berlin, then in England at St. Martins School of Art and the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London; then finally under Kokoschka in Salzburg in 1954. Her solo exhibitions included one at her London studio in 1968 and another at Ben Uri in 1987.
